Throughout the year Children from Ross Circuit Preschool have being visiting places within our local community. The children have visited Aldi, UPA Lavington and the Lavington Library so far.
Community connections are an important part of our practices here at Ross Circuit Preschool. It reinforces the children’s understanding of their belonging – connections to our community. They learn to respond to diversity with respect and kindness. Children start to become confident and involved learners by becoming – awareness of whats around them and connecting with people.
The children have thoroughly enjoyed all experiences like buying groceries and then cooking a delicious cake, chating with the residents at UPA and hearing the amazing stories at the Lavington Library.
We are so impressed with the road and traffic skills that the children are developing from the regular outings we have.
They can’t wait for Term 4 with nice weather for more community outings.
